Only Aim

As soon as I think that I'm finished I look up and see it's a long way to go I used to spend all my money to get it until I realized it was all bout my soul Now I been staying inside of my crib and it's taking a minute to get on the road I just keep thinking about when He sent me a message and told me that I was the chose I was the one in back of the class I used to write down on paper how I was gon make it and get to the cash Now I been dealing with feelings of feeling like I wasn't made for the dash Like I wasn't made for mission of bringing the children right in to the vision and tell em that Jesus gon make the decisions But I gotta spend some more time in the word I got a whole lot to learn People tell me to go get it but i tell em I just been waiting my turn I just been waiting on Jesus to tell me I'm ready to fly with the birds I just been waiting on Jesus to give me permission to build up the church Whole lot of people that I really wanna see saved That's why He's telling His people to call on His name That's why I'm asking the Lord to put me in the game Bringing the city to Christ is my only aim I gotta die to myself I gotta die on the daily These demons be trying to sway me And tell me That i shouldn't work Cuz they want me spiritually lazy And they want me putting guard down That's why I'm putting these bars down They think that they boutta live in the land but Jesus told us that it's ours now And we want the whole land We won't stand in fear in front of no man Pray to Jesus while we hold hands We got everybody in the whole clan If they build against us then it won't stand I been praying heavy with the close fam I don't want the Glory don't want no fans Got the Father with us when we goes in I don't wanna get it my way I don't even care if they can hear what I say I just want the Lord to really hear when I pray Put me on the road but I don't care if I stay I do not care if I'm making this music for only the Lord and that is my word I know that He only gave me His Spirit to follow the word to love Him and serve Whole lot of people that I really wanna see saved That's why He's telling His people to call on His name That's why I'm asking the Lord to put me in the game Bringing the city to Christ is my only aim
