Days Left

The bible says that we are not promised tomorrow So don't hang onto that hurt, pain, grief and sorrow Grab ahold of his joy, his peace and his love Let the light shine through you pointing to him up above Man I promise that our days are numbered I can feel the end near Its all around, in everyones face i see the fear But whom shall I fear that's the motto i remember Them skies will part, that's a fact like a cold day in December But as the world turns it's back on the guiding light The soap opera of it all keeps me up at night So lord keep me focused on your promise Eyes locked, my heart honest So I shine bright for you Until your return is upon us I know if my days ended tomorrow I would be content Because my life has been all for him, every single moment I know there's people out there that aint heard the good news Each one, reach one, Aint that what a christian really posed to do? So why so many of stuck sitting in the pews of the church Gossipping about another instead of doing Gods work? I got young people in my life who living like hell That thug life, drug game, paper stacking for they bail Every moment is a gamble,don't know how the dice'll roll So I tell em bout the one who made the lame to walk and men whole Lord I pray you wake us up to ya voice lord let us hear It's dark up in this world and don't know how many days left here
