Named after their lead singer, Shin can be regarded as Mandopop's answer to American act Bon Jovi. The five-man outfit debuted in 2002 with their self-titled album, and it didn't take long for the band to gather adoring fans thanks to their rocking flavour. With a frenetic sound, the boys quickly branched out from their home market of Taiwan, topping charts in China, Hong Kong and other countries in the region. The original lead vocalist may have left, but when they invited singer Liu Wenjie to take his place in 2010, the band showed a reinvigorated rock spirit, as you'll hear in these tracks.
