The Glorious Sons is a no-frills Canadian band who have consistently topped the charts while carrying the flag for blue-collar rock ’n’ roll.
∙ Eleven of the group’s singles have reached the Top 10 of Billboard’s Canada Rock chart, beginning with “White Noise,” from their 2013 debut, Shapeless Art.
∙ The Glorious Sons enlisted John-Angus MacDonald (guitarist of Canadian hard-rock veterans The Trews) to produce their first full-length, 2015’s The Union.
∙ At the 2015 Canadian Independent Music Awards, they took home Indies for Group of the Year and Rock Artist of the Year.
∙ Both 2017’s Young Beauties and Fools and 2019’s A War on Everything earned Juno Awards for Best Rock Album.
∙ In 2019, two of their songs hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart: “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)” and “Panic Attack.”
