Born in New Orleans as Colin Harper, Collie Buddz moved to Bermuda at age six.
∙ Buddz credits his older brother, Matthew, for turning him on to dancehall and reggae music.
∙ After high school, Buddz left Bermuda to study audio engineering in Orlando, Florida, then returned home to open a studio with his brother.
∙ Buddz’s first three studio releases hit No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
∙ In 2016 he starred with Nick Cannon, Whoopi Goldberg, Busta Rhymes, and Louis Gossett, Jr., in the film King of the Dancehall.
∙ His vocals are included in a remix of Beyoncé’s No. 1 hit “Ring the Alarm.”
