Artist Biography
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.

Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock, Jack DeJohnette, Standards in Norway
Miles Davis, Someday My Prince Will Come
Someday My Prince: Incredible ballad work especially by Miles and pianist Wynton Kelly. Black Codes: the best album from the 1980's, everyone sounds beautiful. Standards: wonderful repertoire. The trio sounds amazing at every tempo and mood. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Midnight Silence (feat. Steve Wilson) [with Billy Hart & Todd Coolman]”
This is one of the great jazz compositions written by one of my heroes: Kenny Kirkland. I loved making this trio album and our biographical film and book projects which allowed me to dig deeper and really get to the heart of this music.
