Artist Biography
Matt Minglewood (vocals, guitar) formed the Minglewood Band in the late '60s with Paul Hann (bass, violin, vocals), Bob Woods (drums, percussion), guitarist Mark McMillan and vocalists Paul Dunn and Enver Sampson, Jr. (who joined in the early '70s). The band's independent self-titled debut appeared in 1976; three years later, RCA signed the band and released another self-titled album. Before the Minglewood Band split up in the mid-'80s, they released Moving (1980), Smokers -- Best Of (1982), Out on a Limb (1983) and Me and the Boys (1986). Matt Minglewood recorded the solo album The Promise in 1988 and The Best of the Minglewood Band was released in 1992. ~ John Bush
