About Max de Wardener
Artist Biography
British composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist Max de Wardener is known for his film and television scores as well as his inventive solo works, which sometimes involve self-created instruments. He's played on recordings by Plaid, Matthew Herbert, Róisín Murphy, Dani Siciliano, and others. His solo recordings include the glitchy electro-acoustic pieces of 2004's Where I Am Today and 2020's self-explanatory Music for Detuned Pianos. His extensive list of scores includes two feature films by Polish director Pawel Pawlikovski and 2021's The Power, which he co-composed with Gazelle Twin.
