About Jesus Cifuentes
Artist Biography
Spanish musician Jesús Cifuentes started getting involved in the local rock scene while playing bass in a band called Páramo in 1985, later joining Celtas Cortos, coming in first place after participating in a contest called Colectivo Eurofolk in 1986. Three years later Celtas Cortos' debut album, called Salida de Emergencia, was released. In 1992 Jesús Cifuentes had the opportunity to participate in the recording of Oyster Band's "Granite Years," included in the band's album Deserters. Jesús Cifuentes first solo album El Caimán Verde came out in 1995. Two years later the artist was collaborating with local act Ixo Rai!.In 1999 Jesús Cifuentes joined Celtas Cortos one more time, recording Tienes La Puerta Abierta. ~ Drago Bonacich
