About Jayysvn
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when I first started creating "phonk" which is a subgenre of Hip-Hop/Rap that is heavily inspired by 90's Memphis Rap. Over time, learning more about the subgenre, I got hooked on the style and started focusing my creations on it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Juice WRLD, Death Race for Love Kendrick Lamar, DAMN. Roddy Ricch, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial Very hard to choose since there is a lot of good music out there, but I chose these ones because of nostalgia. I listened to these albums a lot during my freshman year of high school and late middle school. I had a lot of good memories then.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “45 Wayz” What makes this special to me was that it was my first song that reached a thousand streams on a platform.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was when my friend group from school listened to my "Game Time" mixtape right when it dropped and they loved it. It made me motived to keep on going and to create music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I hope to really gain more streams/followers and to have my music be more out there within the "Phonk" community. I would like to be a known artist within that community for sure.
