About Bizarrap
Artist Biography
Not since the '90s hitmaking golden age of Emilio Estefan has there been a Latin American producer as successful as Bizarrap. The alias of Argentine studio wizard Gonzalo Julián Conde has grown into a dance-music titan, coupling internet-breaking collaborations with genre-warping blasts of trap and electro. Born in 1998 in the Buenos Aires suburb of Ramos Mejía, Bizarrap began studying music production as a teenager, inspired by EDM architects Skrillex and David Guetta. He gained notoriety in 2017 with his “Combo Loco” video compilations, which parodied Argentina's thriving freestyle rap scene while cultivating friendships later immortalised in the prolific, chart-topping Bzrp Music Sessions. Boasting dozens of superstar guests, the cinematic sessions have launched the careers of Villano Antillano and LOUTA, yielded inescapable dance anthems featuring Quevedo, Nathy Peluso and Peso Pluma, and propelled Shakira and Paulo Londra's long-awaited comebacks. In 2023, Bizarrap released , a collaborative EP with teen rapper Milo j that expanded the producer's legend as a shapeshifting aural storyteller.
