Melanie Le Roux lived several lives for Anna Wolf to be reborn through turbulent times. On her five-track alternative pop EP Romance Was Born, the South African-born, London-based singer exquisitely traverses the broody lows and bleeding highs of her vocal range to convey a depth of feeling that’s both dramatic and visceral.
